Hello! I am trying to figure out another problem here. I am trying to hook into woocommerce via the functions.php per http://docs.woothemes.com/document/third-party-custom-theme-compatibility/ but there is a wrapper function that I must identify for my_theme_wrapper_start and my_theme_wrapper_end. What are the grider themes wrapper function names?

EDIT: Scratch previous post. I have determined it to be something with the gantry framework. It seems to be breaking the gantry menu and throwing some exceptions. I am not sure how to address it though. If you can take a look its at http://www.ramchip.net/shop if you got the any other normal page its fine but it breaks the shop and the product pages

Absolutely, I will keep it in the forums since your answering emails just in case it helps someone else. I think I have narrowed it down! It ONLY happens on the Shop page, the Individual item pages and anything related to woocommerce except the cart and the checkout. What appears to happen is the gantry framwork breaks because of it and I REALLY cant put my finger on it :D. the main page that gets the error is http://www.ramchip.net/shop if you check the menu it breaks the menu up top. I am still getting the white flashes in between pages as well.

Ohhh and one other thing! The little news ticker up top in front of the slider has this black square that pops up every time you slide your mouse over it and I have had 2 people complain about it. Is there a way to prevent that from happening again?

Hi, unfortunately i really don’t understand your issue. I see the menu working in shop page as in home page. Please could you explain me more?

About the newsticker, you need to insert in the widget options a word for this square like it could be: ‘news’

Does the website works properly even with the errors in console, apart from menu?

Also i have read some issues between Gantry and Woocommerce, have you googled it?

I have googled it and have tried many fixes. None of which are working unfortunately :(. So you say your seeing the menu highlight shop when its in it? I have tried with chrome, FF and IE and none are showing it. The exact errors I am getting is

Uncaught ReferenceError: Class is not defined rokmediaqueries.js:80
Uncaught ReferenceError: Class is not defined responsive.js:10
Uncaught ReferenceError: Class is not defined responsive-selectbox.js:79
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function http://www.ramchip.net/:1
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function http://www.ramchip.net/:65
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function

There are many things i have done from hooking to making a custom woocommerce.php in the root WP folder. Whats messed up even more is that I see the includes for rokmediaqueries.js and responsive.js right in the page source so I have come to the end of options to figure this one out :D. I think the woocommerce might be wrapping the theme content and putting its own header in there as well but still trying to figure it all out. So close to my perfection! 😀

Now on the news thing, I have put news in there but when you scroll over it that box still pops up is there a way to keep the black box open all the time or go away completely (preferable)?

Thanks much for your help on this!

EDIT EDIT 🙂 I found this, http://www.support.dynamicpress.eu/discussion/237/problems-compatibility-with-woocommerce/p1 . It looks like someone figured out how to make themes using gantry support woocommerce. I think it has to do with the woocommerce.php in the gantry plugin folder. I am trying to figure it out but this may help you patch.. I will keep chugging along and let you know if I find solution.

hi, ok, so the issue is that the menu is not highlighting?

I think the issue has to be with the way Gantry works with overrides. It seems WordPress does not know this page is the shop page or something similar.

About the square in newsticker, to delete it you just need to delete lines 75-77 both inclusive in file widgets/mimonewsticker.php

    Best regards
